Splashtown (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you book a ticket, sign a waiver, or buy a season pass, and how we use it.

What we collect

Contact info: name, email, phone number (for bookings and pass delivery)
Booking data: dates, times, location, ticket types, payment totals
Waiver data: participant name, date of birth, guardian info if minor, signature
Account data: if you create an account, we store your email and a hashed password
Staff data: for staff members, we store email, role, and login audit logs

How we use it

To process your booking and issue tickets / QR codes
To send your booking confirmation and any weather-related updates
To send your season pass by mail (if mailing address provided)
To verify waiver completion at the gate
To send a one-time sign-in code if you request account access
To meet our legal obligations (safety waivers, tax records)

What we do NOT do

We do not sell or rent your information to third parties
We do not share your data with marketing companies
We do not use tracking cookies or advertising pixels

Third parties we use

Stripe — to process credit card payments (PCI compliant, we never see your card number)
Resend — to send booking confirmations and sign-in codes via email
Twilio — to send SMS weather alerts (only if you opt in)

Data retention

Booking and waiver data is kept for 7 years for tax and liability purposes. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Marketing emails can be unsubscribed at any time.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, request deletion, or correct inaccuracies by emailing privacy@splash.ashbi.ca
